Het gehele proces van bemonstering, extractie van het eDNA tot aan de qPCR analyse kan uitgevoerd worden door gebruik te maken van deze kits. De extracties en bepalingen moeten worden uitgevoerd in een apart ingerichte laboratorium, waar diverse maatregelen worden genomen om DNA besmettingen te voorkomen.
